Our

Staple Fiber and Chopped Fiber

As a synthetic man-made fiber, high tenacity staple fiber with excellent characteristics which are extremely strong and durable—resistant to most chemicals, stretching and shrinking as well as good abrasion resistance. They have been widely used in Filters media, Vehicle interior design, turfed carpets and geotextiles.

Chopped fiber can be cut to different length according to customer’s request. It generally used to fil in resin, concrete or rubber in industry of engineering plastic, reinforced conveyor belt, reinforced rubber parts, FRP parts etc.

We can supply:

  • HT Polyester (PET)
  • HT Polypropylene (PP)
  • HT Polyamide (Nylon 6/6.6)
  • Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE)
  • Para-Aramid

Staple Fiber: 32mm~150mm

Chopped Fiber: 1mm~18mm

FAQ’s

Q1: What is the difference between staple fiber and chopped fiber?
Staple fiber refers to short-length fibers used for spinning yarns, while chopped fiber is cut to a specific length for reinforcement in composites.

Q2: What are the industrial applications of staple fiber versus chopped fiber?
Staple fiber is used in spinning, nonwovens, and textiles, while chopped fiber is commonly used in plastics, concrete, and resin reinforcement.

Q3: How are staple fibers processed into chopped fibers in manufacturing?
Staple fibers are mechanically cut into shorter lengths to create chopped fiber, which is then mixed into composite materials for added strength.

Q4: Which industries use chopped fiber for reinforcement and molding applications?
Automotive, aerospace, construction, and marine industries use chopped fiber for strengthening molded parts and structural components.
